Oil Filter Housing Bolt Torque

Had to remove the oil filter housing this weekend to install a freeze plug behind it. It seemed to be pretty tight on there so much so that I had to use a cheater bar to get it loose and a block of wood and rubber mallet to get it off. So much for the background. I've got a '91 Firebird service manual that states the oil filter "adapter" bolt is torqued to 63 ft lbs. This seems quite tight but judging how I had to get it off, correct. Just for comparison I decided to look up the torque for a bolt on the V8 and the specs stated to 18 ft lbs. Now I'm at a loss cause I don't want to over torque it and I can't find anything on this site or on the internet as to what the correct torque should be for a 3.1 V6 LH0 oil filter housing bolt. I'm looking for the torque value for part 39, oil filter housing bolt, that goes through part 40, oil filter housing, and into the engine block. Any help or reference would be appreciated.
