EGR Solenoid Replacement
Car failed Smog in CA. Too high NOX, new EGR Valve installed, but tested EGR solenoid and it does not click when 12v applied. Been looking online for a new one and cant seem to find a replacement one. Thinking of installing one off of a Fiero or S10 from late 80s. They seem to have the same electrical connection as the Camaro. Wondering if anyone has tried installing one of these.

Re: EGR Solenoid Replacement
One thing to note is EGR solenoids come NO or NC. Normally Open = open until 12v applied, NC is the opposite. Just make sure that's a match.

Re: EGR Solenoid Replacement
Ok thank you looks like the fiero one is NO like the camaro. So I’ll give that one a try.
