width?
ok im sorrry if this question has been asked 12432 times on here but i need help. currently i have 245/50/16 on all four rims. i need new rear tires but i wanted to get something thats a little wider. what size would you recommend? 235? 225? what would be the widest i can go and fit. if you could help me out that would be great thanks

Depends more on the tire itself. I have 245's on both of my Camaro's and they are not the same width. I found a very limited choice with 245's and even more with 255's for 16 x 8.
255's are availble with the BG Goodrich G-Force and IIRC, Good Year F-1's.
I just bought a set of FireHawk wide Ovals for around $100/ tire installed. Very happy with them. 245's are the only thing available and they are on the narrow side.

ok thanks. i think i might just go to tirerack cause thats where ive been looking. ill just look for some 255 16's at least they will be a little wider. thanks for the help
