ive been wondering if 4th gen rims will bolt up to a 3rd gen without any problems(i.e. wheel adapters etc)
every time i find a decent set the seller wont let me test fit em on my car so i dont bother buying em.the most i wanna have to do is use a flat spacer if necessary

ALOT of people are running them. If not 4th gen they are running the corvette rims, or just custom/aftermarket.
You WILL need proper spacers. Just do a search and it will tell you more then you want to know about just about every wheel you would want to run on your car.
Personally I like the corvette zo6 rims the best but im saving up for a custom set of 19in boze wheels(havent decided on design yet).

I run a set of 4th gen SS wheels. They absolutely will not fit without adapters. I have 2" adapters all around.
Do you want to sell them? I'm thinking about bumping up to those for my street wheels and getting cheap 17x9.5 C4 vette wheels for the track.
