Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims

Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
I was searching for pictures of black IROC rims. There are almost no pics of black IROC rims, I did find a rim similar. The Jeep srt8 comes with 20" iroc like rims. I actually like the Jeep rims better, as you can see the replica dose NOT have the srt8 logo on the rims.
They don't have all the same creases the IROC rims have. What do you like better? Do you have pic of these on a IROC?

Re: Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
they look more like BIG rs wheels than Iroc's , just so this in another post and they look just like the trucks minus the polish lip and trim

Not black, but they are '04 Chrysler "Graphite". Sorry about them being on a S-10, but they are IROC wheels.

Do you have an update on this? I saw an srt8 jeep today and was thinking those wheels would look sweet on a 3rd gen.

FYI: I'm still not sure I want to use these (they just happen to have a set at the shop).

Re: Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
thanks for the quick reply.
I did a little research and I know that the lug pattern on our f-bodies are 5x120.70(correct me if I'm wrong please) but the lug pattern on those rims are 5x127. A little ebay searching and I found some Wheel Adapters 5 Lug 5x120.65 To 5x127 Spacers 1.5"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel...311149010r2659
would this work? it gives it an extra 1.5 inch space to counter the offset and width of the rim correct? would that 120.65 fit our 120.70 lug pattern?

Re: Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
our lug pattern is 5x4.75", which works out to 5x120.65mm, so the adapters you described are the right bolt pattern.
Sorry but I don't have time right now to work out the offset numbers for the adapter thickness. In the end, won't you end up spending more including adapters than getting the aftermarket IROC ones? And wouldn't you also have "SRT" cast into those rims? Also, the Iroc replicas are available in smaller sizes like 18", which work a lot better on our cars than 20s do for several reasons.

Re: Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
Yea I figured if I go the srt route I'd probably be spending more for oem rims, different size tires and spacers. I guess I was just trying to also do something different--seeing how no one has done this yet, if i don't like the way they look or feel--I can always sell em and pick up some irocs. I'm rolling stock gta web wheels right now, just looking to try something different other than throwing vette whells or massive irocs on a third gen.

Re: Jeep SRT8 vs IROC rims
what size rims look best is a matter or opinion. where I'm from, we ride big rims... I'm not a fan of anything over 20" on a car. I have 20" irocs on my car (soon to be black). I think the fronts are just too wide, there are no size options for this wheel
The replicas dont have the srt8 stamp btw
