Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Hi,
I am looking at these wheels and wanted to get your thoughts on fitment (if spacers needed) and what tires would work to fill the well on my standard height ride
I was thinking of 265 35 19 fronts and 275 or 285 35 19 rears ? would they work ?

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Both will probably fit with no spacers because of their size, but would be ideal with a 3/4 spacer which require longer wheel studs.
The correct bolt pattern is 5x120.65.
As long as the front tires are not any taller than 26" they will work

I would suggest you go for the 19" x 9.5" wheels and get 275-30-19 tires on all 4 corners. Your braking and handling will thank you.

35s will work fine and 275 all around with 9.5 all around also as well 30s are a bit to short of side wall but will meet tire height vs stock but 35 is taller and will fill wheel well better as well
square setup is easier handles better and can rotate tires

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated.
After hours and hours of searching and changing my mind more than a few time I finally ordered wheels yesterday.
As per the pic they are going to be 19x9.5 all round and once I have done a test fit will be putting a set of 275/35/19 tires on.

The BMW lug pattern is ok if you use swivel nuts. You can tuck as much as a 19x11 on a 315/30 under all 4 corners if you roll the fenders and get the offset perfect, so I wouldn't go less than 9.5"-width front or rear.

Yes I have purchased a set of wobble nuts to use to compensate for the difference and also ordered a set of hub centric rings as well

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Help required !
After a few months of these wheels I am having to compensate to pretty bad wheel rubbing.
Nearside wheel is rubbing on left turns and wearing at the wheel as it rubs on the chassis/body.
My mechanic popped on a spacer to see if that helped but it still rubbed.
What do you suggest I try to stop this ?
Thanks

I don't see the offset/backspacing listed anywhere here unless I missed it? Looks like your about 1" taller total with that that combo.

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Hi,
Offset is ET20 so equates to 6inch of backspace
Diameter of the tyre is not an issue as the tyres dont rub. Problem is the inside of the wheel hitting the body.
Thanks

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Hey Ian,
74.1 center, is that in mm and the diameter of the wheel hub insert hole?
I'm looking to put a set of aftermarket wheels on my car but can't find spacers to fit over the hubs with the right clearance.

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Thanks Zach, super helpful.
However I'm in Australia and the spacers are not a common item. Also the hub center measurement for thirdgens is not on any of the stickies on the forums and where it is posted the values vary significantly.
The shipping for spacer is also ridiculously expensive overseas due to the weight, hence why i wanted to know the specs so i can get a local place to quote them.

Re: Wheel/tire fitment for 19's
Damn, the wheel itself is hitting? Only on one side? Where is the contact?
I've got 19x10 all the way around and only have tire contact issues.
