I was looking at the post about the best tires and I started looking around on the net for a couple of the different types that caught my eye. My question is, what type of cobras are the best? I am looking on cooper's website and they have 5 different models of cobra
Cobra ZHP 01
Cobra GTZ
Cobra XST
Cobra GTH
Cobra G/T

I was also looking at the Protenza RE730s but they are at tire rack and I can check them out.

I am not really sure, but possible the top one, the Z tire, maybe it is the Z rated version of the tire, which is the highest speed rating you can get.

i used the gtz and loved them,good wear and tracyion.

 

i have the GTH's on my firebird and i think they are a really good tire.in warm and hot wheather they stick like glue.in wet wheather their not that great(but look at what i'm driving)

i have the XST's and i was told be the rep(that happened to be at the store the day i was) that i was not to drive these in the winter. and i know why. when i blew the engine in my S10 i had to bring out the camaro for a week. and on the way to school one morning i was doing about 50mph and i hit it to go around some guy. and the back end came loose. it was really cold and it was dry and yes i have a 350 but i have never done something like this.
he explained to me when i bought the tires not to drive them in the winter. they are summer tires. and they truly are.
oh and in the rain!!! its great you dont even know it is raining. it feels like it is dry out. the water just splits under the tires. i am impressed and i give my thumbs up for these tires.
especially since they only cost me $98.99 a piece.

XST's have my vote!!
