Cobra R wheels

Will 1999-2000 Mustang Cobra R wheels work on a third gen Camaro? I like the style, kinda like the SS zr1. What's everyone's thoughts?

Re: Cobra R wheels

They was a company that sold the Cobra R rims in 5x4.75. They called them Vortecs. GMHTP mag put them on one of their project cars. It was a yellow(I think) LT1 firebird and they painted the wheels black with BBQ grill paint.

Unless you have adapters there is literally no way you fit them on a 01 Taco. Tacos are 6 lug, Cobras are 5 lug.

Camaros have a 5x120.65 bolt pattern, Cobras use 5x114.3.

Re: Cobra R wheels

Regardless of them fitting a Tacoma, which is a Toyota and not relevant to the original question, factory cobra r's will not fit a camaro. Not bolt on anyhow. You could get bolt pattern adapters. But at that point if they look close to a set of rims for a chevy, get those rims instead. I'm also not sure what the offset difference is between a camaro and a mustang. Might push them way out past the fenders and look goofy.

The pattern would look good. I'm a fan of 5 point rims on anything. As common of a style as that is I'm sure you could find something aftermarket with a good offset to sit flush with the fenders and all.
