competitive engineering SFCs, whose got em
Any one running the competitive engineering SFCs the ones from summit, How did the install go? and any major mods to make them fit, oh and these are for the weld ons. I tried over on the Chass./sups. board but got no replys. Can someone help me?

You mean competition engineering? if so i got some i havent installed them yet but from what i can tell right now they seem to be pretty strong .....
ok .. installation
note: transmission crossmember must be removed before installing frame connectors, and remove seats and carpet so it dont get burned.
1) place connector in position lining up frame connector holes with the bolt holes for the transmission cossmember.
2) useing body/floor pan seam as a reference point, line up connector so that it is exactly parallel to the seam front to back.
3) trace connector onto floor pan from front to back.
4) cut away floor pan where needed.
5) when connector is lined up in all directions, hold in place with transmision crossmember bolts and then tack weld the connector into place and check all dimensions.
6) weld to subframe whereever contact is made and also to the floor pan where possible.
and thats it you got SFC's!!
