Oh, yeah, the FuelSafe unit is a nice piece. I want one. Last time I checked (through I/O Port Racing, I think) It was a little over $1000. may have to hold off on that purchase, tho.....

Swapping a 400+ hp 383 and having a 15 gallon tank (stopping often to get gas) and getting fuel starvation problems when corning w/ anything less then a 1/2 tank (w/ tbi 305)....
I've been thinking of increasing the fuel tank size too. I saw the fuel safe the price and the not going racing made me think otherwise. My ideal is to buy a stock tank (new $180), and have my fabrictor friend (I help crew with him on the weekends on a Late Model team, driven by fellow Camaro guy) put a 2-3 inch section and extend the pick-up and fab a baffle/sump around the pick-up and make new straps. My fabricator friend suggested this to me... he's done it in the past with no problems on other types of cars. The 2-3 inches are not a set size yet, when I get the tank he'll measure it and figure in the volume I want to add and figure where to section it.
Hope this helps.
Good luck

I am planning on using a 15 gal fuel cell, but I'm not sure how exactly I'm gonig to get it done, lol. I've been thinking about possibly cutting out part of the hatch area and mouning it in there, but I dunno.
