mechanical fuel pump
I swapped the 305 to a 350 not too long ago, and it is just not performing as it should. I've been looking into reasons why that may be, and the latest thought is that the engine driven pump may not be feeding enough gas to the bigger mill, killing performance. I'm going to have the pressure checked soon. If that is the problem, then who makes a good pump. I can find plenty of pumps with 2 fittings, but mine has 3.

I thought i had the same problem but have been told here and heard elsewhere that a good stock pump should do.Im sure the more power you have this may change, but I think only 5psi? is needed for a quadrajet.I have also had no luck in finding a aftermarket pump with the return line. Most will say do away with it but Id rather not.Are you running a quad.or something else?
