IF U DONT HAVE A LOT OF MONEY I WOULD START WITH AN EXHAUST (SLP, FLOWMASTER, MAGNAFLOW, BORLA....) AND IT WOULD NEVER HURT TO THROW A K&N FILTER IN THERE THEY ARE ONLY LIKE 35$. CHECK OUT THE JEGS AND SLP WEBSITES THEY HAVE ALOT OF PARTS FOR OUR CARS.

Guess what??? i'd say edlebrock air filter first, (i've just put one on my 305 4bbl) and then back section or if you can afford it full cat back system.

I could deffinately feel an improvement with the air filter , its not huge but will keep giving gains as you work other things.

(eg, filter alone 5 hp - fit an exhauste and the filter then gives about 7 - 8 hp)

My Flowmaster box and tailpipes (3 1/2 polished) are on the way as we speak!!!

filter isn't always bolt on but with a little fiddling there not too bad.

I'd go with an open element and full exhaust.
