ignition ????
Just wonderin' what my best buys would be for my 91 305. I'm lookin' at new plugs, wires, distributer, and a chip. There are far too many products out there, and I am way to uneducated in performance to just go and start buying stuff. I am also going to start on some of the TBI mods that are posted in here.
Thanks guys.

Scot,
I have a 91 Firebird Formula 305 tbi. I use Bosch platinum plugs, Accel 8mm spark plug wires, Hypertech Thermomaster chip and an Accel distributor cap and rotor on a stock distributor. I am totally satisfied with these parts. I am sure there are others on this board with other parts that they are satisfied with too.
Good luck,
Don

Wires and such
Scot-
I finally broke down and bought new stuff after 100,000 miles. I wound up going with MSD wires, coil and ignition module (6AL).
I have an engine on the stand (in process of pulling out old stock one- 91 RS 305TBI) that has to use a stock GM distributor. I bought the distributor brand new, so am sticking with the cap and rotor that came with it.
You may check out what Summit Racing.com has to offer. Their search engine usually turns up the bulk of what they have to offer and you can choose the stuff that suits you from there.
Also, if you choose aftermarket wires with different routing than stock, make sure to get some sort of wire loom so you don't burn them up!
To Success!
