Car: 1986 Firebird
Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: 700R4
Well, my V6 MPFI (close to TPI) car felt a bit zippier with the chip. It might be because of the delayed lock-up of the torque convertor (I have an automatic trans) though. For $30, why not? 
If you don't see a gain, sell it again to someone else. (I paid $70 for mine new.)
