Has anyone used Proforms HEI distibuter?
I was considering recurving my distributer, or having someone do it here it town. but after i thought about the cost/time factor i started thinking about just buying a distibuter with a performance curve in it, and it has a good coil and module(thats what it says)also, i dont know if it has an adjustable vacuum advance canister or not. any ideas? or should i just stick with my stock HEI coil/cap/module and recurve it?

I have one of these big cap hei's in my 70 malibu, with a mild 350. I can tell you the vaccuum advance is NOT adjustable, and i can also tell you that most likely everyone will recommend that you get it recurved anyway for your specific application. I did notice a difference on the malibu, but then again, i was going from points to hei. I would say it is a good value distributor and i have had no problems with it.

I don't have their distributor, but I di have their HEI kit. My vacuum advance works, and the kit as a whole, I thought was great. Up to 7 grand, it doesn't miss.
