If I were you I'd look into getting a set of SR torquer 305 heads and a crane powermax 2030 cam. That would help your intake side quite a bit. Then learn to burn your own chips and maximize your power and driveability.

i have a compucam 2030.... go for the 2040... the 2030 is a bit small- i feel that i could have gained a lot even with stock heads.
A good port job ont he heads and that cam cam WILL net 300 hp- i have 275 with untouched lg4 heads and 2030 cam...
Steve
ps here's the dyno sheet for you nay sayers: http://pages.cthome.net/ssoares/webfolder/dynochart.jpg
and check out the torque curve ontop of that... btw, these are the sae corrected numbers and the power at the wheels, i used 15% drivetrain loss.... to arrive at 275/310 for flywheel numbers.

fb305svs- hey what are the specs on that cam. Thats a damn fast 305. Car stick? Im curious as to your setup, does it pass emmisions? Im in CT too, and have a 350 in my car, which though not legal, no one is gonna run numbers I hope. Im hoping to pull times similar to yours.
I see south berlin, go to the turnpike much? I love that place, but got caught racing another trans am and got a 78 dollar ticket. But I did win that race. If you see a black with silver stripe 84 down there parked, stop by and say hello.

look at the dyno chart dude!
the 2.6 was done at New England Dragway in New Hampshire. I'll tell you right now, it that tracks is very un prepped.
Usually, with the tires i had on it, the bfg kdws's, i can pull consistant 2.2's. With the dr's, 1.9's. I was just spinning right into 2nd gear, and infact, couldn't pull WOT until just about the end of 2nd.
My car is pretty quick for the power for a couple reasons- the gearing just happened to be perfect for the power band. The car is also light- 3300lbs with me in it, and full interior, spare and jack removed, just about empty tank of gas. I attribute this to the t-5, and the fiberglass hood, and removal of a/c components. Before the t-5 swap and the a/c removal, i was running about 3550 with the cowl hood. i know there is about a 100 lbs difference between the t-5 and the auto, and the a/c totaled to be about 35-40 lbs.... not sure where the rest went- i did swap in some 4th gen seats- maybe they are 20 lbs lighter total for front and backs?
well anyways, i'm a small guy- weigh about 135-140.
All the emmisions stuff is also removed...
anyways, i have a few people that watched the run, if i had a scnaner i'd scan the timeslip
