Will this work for The Ultimate TBI mod listed at the bottom of this page https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...imatetbi.shtml ?

14x3 raised base is what I want, right? Will it clear the hood? Thanks.

no, you want a dropped base. a raised base will have no chance of clearing your hood.

A dropped base air cleaner may not clear the throttle linkage that well on a tbi car. With a flat bottom air cleaner it'll clear the hood and eliminate the spacer ring as well.
I'm using Moroso air cleaner #65911, chrome, 14x3".
Under $50 at Summit.

Thanks RIch, thats what I thought. The Ultimate TBI says NOT to use a dropped base, use a non drop to eliminate the spacer ring problems. Glad to know it will fit, and thanks for the part #'s.
