Heli-Core Plug Wire Part #s?
Heli-Core Plug Wire Part #s?
Just wondering if anybody had part numbers for MSD heli-core wires? Opinions on these wires? Anyways, I would like part number(s) on both universal and custom. And what would you guys recomend, universal or custom? And do both kinds include the coil wire? Thanks. -89IRO

Wires are wires to me. I've used them all, moroso, accel, msd, taylor, blah blah blah. I'll tell you one thing, they all melt when they touch a header tube no matter what brand.
I try to get the cheapest set, which is usually the Taylors. The universal do it yourself wires is an adventure if you are doing your first set.

Now that's real world advice I can use. I was debating between MSD superconductors and Heli-cores, but for a low compression, low rpm 350, I guess any old aftermarket wire will probably do. Thanks, 89gta383. Taylors it is!
Not trying to push a brand, but I tried the stock Delco, the Accel 8.8 and the MSD 8.5 and I liked the MSD the best, I bought the custom fit kit and it did come with the coil wire, the universal kit is nice also if you have the patience to put them together.
