Stealth Ram

I am buying a Holley Stealth Ram and did some searching but didn't see this question. There is no egr, so do I need to have my chip reburned... I don't want to if possible.. I know it will throw the egr
code in the computer but can I just ignor that or will the code cause other problems.. thanks everyone

I'm sorry to inform you that you're gonna hafta have the chip re burned. The reason is because there's a microscopic thermonuclear device embedded in the chip itself, by Microsoft, who does all the programming for any major project, or they kill people. If you drive for longer than a month with the egr code still tripped, your car will blow up in a flash of nuclear fire killing you and everyone in a fourty mile radius.

There's a good chance the code will not throw. If it does occasionally, just clear the computer by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and you'll be fine. If the code sets more than occasionally, you can get one of the guys here that burns chips on the side to burn you one for $50 or so,,, or if you have the time to do it,,, spend that money on the $200 worth of equipment to burn your own.
