You know for the money, Sears has the low design jack for $250. It seems like a lot but for a low profile 3 ton jack, that's pretty good. Also considering that most floor jacks won't go under an fbody without a little help. Just my $0.02 though.

I went and looked at the ones at ADvance but they just looked like a bigger version of the 2 1/2 ton jacks. Those little jacks arent good for anything except maybe a compact car. I want a real floor jack, I will I could find one of those deals for $50 bucks at Sears for the 3 ton and jack stands....I cant afford $100 for a jack. Does Sams or Costco sell them? I looked on their website but couldnt find them and Ebay, Im not paying $50 bucks shipping.

thanks guys

Jack
I saw the Craftsman Jack and it wasn't as impressive as the $175 3.5 Jack at NAPA, 22" lift When your lifting your car, you want some insurance.

I have a couple questions. The jack we have now is this dinky little thing, my dad said he got it for one of our other cars that sits low. I was at this shop awhile back that had a huge jack, it was like 3 or 3 1/2, I don't exactly remember, but it fit under my friend's civic that was lowered, and I mean ~LOW~. It didn't fit, but he pulled the cup thing off the end, and it just barely slipped right under and fit. I want one of these for my car, since my car will never be as low as this civic was. Is this the "low profile" ones you guys are talking about? It also had this other pedal on the side that raised the jack, but it did it like way faster then using the long handle. Does harbor frieght sell any good ones?

I probably sound like an idot... lol. Can anyone help me out? I have like 150$ burnin a hole in my pocket. Can I get anything similar to that with this much money?

is that jack just an oversized jack like the little ones they sell at Advance? You know the kind that you have to pull the handle out and turn the valve to release the air....Im want one that all you have to do is turn the handle...I real mans jack.......a friend of mine says that you can get those kinds for around $50.00 but you just have to look around...

Im going to the Auto Expo at the Lowes Motor Speedway on the 4th of April...I may just look there and see what kind of deal I can get...

I want one of these. At 3.5" minimum height, it should get underneath that cross member.

Yep!,,thats me! Thats what ive been looking for. You cant beat the price and quality.

Lifting Range: Lifts 5 1/2" - 22" High
Univeral Joint: Ensures smooth release valve operation
ANSI Superior Quality
Magnetic Tool Tray: Ideal for keeping small parts or hardwares
Saddle Pad: Prevents chassis lift point from scratching while lifting
Just one pump brings the saddle all the way up to the chassis

So we can lift our cars without the hassle of not being able to get a good pump on the jack? Thats the problem with the little jacks, with the handle under the car theres not enough room to jack the pump up but with a regular car jack and the handle sticking out from under the car the pumps are easier.

How do you release the air? from the handle or a valve?

I went and looked at the jack from SAMS.....that is one fine piece of steel....I would almost hate to buy it and get it all scuffed up...for the price there is no way it can be beat..that jack is top quality. The handle is 55in long. It will be in my garage soon. thanks for the heads up guys on a jack.

also one pump on this bad bay will damn near pick your wheels up, it lifts real high on the first pump.
