Spoiler

Hey there, im kinda new here..but i got a couple questions, is there any web sites that have the spoilers that i can get for my 1983 camaro that look just like firebird spoilers? i have seen them in a camaro magazine but in nothing else, just wondering if anyone has seen them elswhere. also, im looking for a tranny, do i need to get one from another third gen camaro? or can i just use my tailshaft(is that what its called?) too bolt that traction thing too? its an automatic car and it had a 700r4 in it, but for a 2.8l v6, so i need one for a bigger engine, could i get a th350? or would i be better off getting another 700r4 for a bigger eng? also is there a computer in my car? and what what that wire that was connected to my tranny? it had a square plug on it, is that only on camaro tranny's? is that on all trannies? do i need to plug that in? can i get rid of it?
i hope all of my questions can be answered, thank you for helpin a white boii out.

peace

and also where can i get a headliner? my car has a sunroof but it looks as if it was 'put' in the car, so i would have to get a headliner without the sunroof and put in in myself, right? where could i find one?

Get a newer 700R4(87 or up). Check out the FAQ section on this site for more info.

The V6 trannies are a little different. A TH350 will bolt in, too, but you need to fabricate a crossmember since it's shorter and doesn't have a provision for the torque arm. TH350s don't have that electrical connector, so if you swap one in, you don't have to worry about that.

It would be better to get another 700R4 so you can retain your overdrive gear and lockup.

My buddy's got a firebird spoiler just sitting in his garage. You want the low one right? I'm sure he'll bart with it cheep. He dosen't even need it for anything. He picked it up off a bird down at the street races in Philly right before the cops broke it up. The thing wasn't even bolted to the car!
