Chassis Engineering SFCs
Chassis Engineering SFCs
Chassis Engineering's weld-in subframe connectors for '82-92 F-bodies are absolute garbage. This product is not only ugly as hell but it seems that no engineering actually went into developing these connectors. They don't clear exhaust and they don't fit properly on the driver's side either. (Even came with some complimentary rust on them)

wow that looks like crap. i can make that in 2-4mins. cant believe someone is sellin a piece of metal with 2 pieces of angle iron on it and callin it SFC. maybe they whould have done some enginerring
...and everyone wonders why I built my own... My homemade's are the strongest I know of, and they let me run true 2 1/2 duals w/o any loss of ground clearance.
You got screwed there man. I'd send those back. As stated, those could be built for about $15 and 5 min...

G*d damn right they're going back. I called the speed shop I got them at and told them how sh*tty they were and they appologized and said "bring 'em back". If I were to try to use these worthless metal scraps it would take longer to try to modify them to fit than it would to fab up my own quality SFCs. I forgot to mention that this square tube only has an outside dimension of about 1.25". I am appalled to say the least. Chassis Engineering definitely gets the one finger salute.
