MSD blaster ignition
MSD blaster ignition
Hey guys I have been looking around for a little update of my ignition system and I came across the newer box by msd the blaster. I now its not a big upgrade but the thing that intrigued me the most is that it plugs into factory wiring and it doesn't cause that well known "SERVICE ENGINE SOON ". This is a concern to me because I want to do a tune up and replace everything with delco stuff except for the igniton, coil and wires.

You could do that, or you could just get the msd harness which plugs directly into the factory setup for any of the msd6's. I got mine plugged in without any splices or cuts, and no ses light. I was even able to return it to stock in 5 min to trouble shoot another problem.

I got mine at the local Kragen autoparts, i think it was around 20.00 but it is very necessary for a simple install with not cutting. I picked up my gm blaster coil there too, they were right next to eachother.
