Seems to be a little overkill for a street car. The 6AL is more than capable. Personally I use the Holley Strip Annihilator for over 3 years now and the handheld programmer is awesome for setting my line loc/rev limiters and shift lite. I mounted a button in my console with a toggle switch (One position for burnout and one for stage) I could lock the front brakes and floor the cr and she stays put until I let off the button. I use the C-core coil which puts out 2A @ 40,000v. More than enough. Actually overkill (burns the terminals off the inside of the cap) so I switched over to the Street/Strip E-core for the last 6 mos.

Un less you are bracket racing our are running some outrageos power combo, the 7 is way to high. If you are running straight carb, the D 6 is most economical, but if you are thinking of usin it than an HiPo HEI Distributor would work fine. If you are running nitrous or forced air D 6AL will give the best spark and retard. By the way, tje Digital boxes will give you better emmissions and idle, but if you are worried about emmisions than I don't see why you would need a HiPo ignition!
