I saw these in Jegs today. Those are an awesome idea. Especially for anybody running some big heads, you want exhaust flow, those would work nice. I know for a fact they make BBC thirdgen headers.

 

wats the adapter look like and how does it work? cuz the big block headers for thirdgens are an aweful tight fit from what ive seen

 

Your talking head pipes bigger then 1 3/4" right? (those adapters have been around for years) they just move the flange mounts, so you don't have to dimple the tubes. Or is it a flange kit? (buy longer primpary tubed BBC then needed, cut off the BBC flange, bend pipes, weld on the new flange). BBC headers won't fit standard port SBC heads, an adapter that would change the SBC ports to BBC head pipe spacing would be to long in a third gen, if there is such a thing.

 

Thes are just adapters that mount to the standar exaust ports of SBC's, and have the standard bolt up pattern for BBC heads. They would be nice to have. The difference in width between a sbc and a bbc, the headers probably wouldn't end up being as tight.
