If i bought a 200 mph 5" speedo would it fit right into the dash? How does it hook up?

As far as it going into the dash, No it will not go right in.
as far as it hooking right up No it will not

the bezel sticks out from the plastic, where as the stock one is in the cluster.

you would loose your VSS signal if it's an older car, and drive the computer nuts.

It doesn't hook into the factory printed circuitry, nor does it use the factory speedo cable end.

 

Would a Electronic speedo work since it connects right up to the VSS?

Not on a cable driven model.. in the factory speedo,the cable plugs into the back of the speedometer, with the VSS being attached to the speedometer, the cable runs right through it.. as far as i know there's no way to get it off and rig it to the new unit..
