B&M causing starting problems??

B&M causing starting problems??

has anyone had this, my car has started to have problems starting because what i believe is the neutral safety switch... has anyone had problems like this?

My not be the safest things and if you have little children around I would advise against it, but I have the B&M Megashifter and that switch kept givin' me problems, so i just took it out...

was there anything you had to do to the wiring so it would start; it's been so long i forgot where my instructions were.

You just have to connect the two wires together that went to that switch... I actually put in a toggle switch and I don't have an ashtray so i tucked it in where the ashtray goes and i can turn it off for extra security...

That's a good idea, i wish i would of thought of that; instead i went through and soldered all the conections to the relay to make sure that they couldn't vibrate loose! after messing around for a while without instructions and not being able to start the car this seemed liked the best idea.

I hope this solves it and i won't have any other problems. thanks for the ideas.

well it turned out that one of the connections kept vibrating loose....... so i soldered them all to make sure this wouldn't happen again.

thanks guys for all the ideas, right now things seem to be good!
