Im looking for opinions based on personal actual experiece. I would like to know what people think is a good set of injectors for my 305 TPI engine and recomended headers, cat back system, cat, and even mufflers for a 87 Z28. Would people recomend getting dual exhaust or stick with single with a stock engine? While you at it probably going to make my computer crazy so what about chip recomendations? Addition info like Links and Part #'s would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Taz, Get the SLP headers and cat-back if you can afford them. They are a bit pricey, but I have had no problems with them. Go to SLPonline.com for all the info and prices. They recommend1 5/8 headers for the 305 cars. I have the Accel 22lb injectors. I actually got them because they are the absolute cheapest that I could fid. They sell for $230 for set of 8 in Jeg's. They are a little noisy but seem to work great. I had Fastchips (fastchip.com) burn my chip when I moved up to a 383. They were very thorough in the amount of info about the car that they wanted prior to burning my chip. Got it, put it in, fired up idled great, NO PROBS... these are just my personal experiences... Fastchips sell a upgrade chip for about $160 that is supposed to have won a few shoot outs , I don't really have any first hand knowledge of those chips though.....

Thanks for you post. Went to SLPonline.com and I think there site is being updated cuz i couldnt find nothing. I go search for anything and only result in every case was dyno testing.
The Jegs was cool.
I tried to look for some SLP online and also saw this site.

He ran into a problem with the headers rubbing on sterring. Did you get same problem? How ever the headers look very nice. No sharp turns. Looks like very smooth flow setup.
I definitely would like to stick with same Manufacturer as much as i can all the way back. Maybe SLP makes cats and mufflers.
Im still looking around and would appreciate from personal experience since I would really like to get everything matched up in such a way i can maximize power and fuel. What will the SLP do for my emmisions? I need to pass =)

I went with the SLP system, and I like it very much. the only Item they do not make is
the Catalytic converter and I used a Catco
from Summit. Check my profile for the Parts
I used. Note! no problems with Header installation.
