Hooker Long Tube headers 1.75" primaries part no. 2210. Suggest you get them coated to keep underhood temperatures in line. Check out internetracer.com They sell them to you with the O2 bung welded in. Don't do what I did and order them from Hooker with Jet Hot coating and then forget that you need to weld the 02 bung. Thats going to mess up your beatiful coating. Doh!
Anyways you could have them make you a custom y-pipe at a performance muffler shop or you could order the "bolt on" edition from mufflexperformance.com for $250!.
Why are you thinking of ditching the shorty headers? What car and mods do you have now and what do you have planned? For 75 percent of the time the long-tube headers are not really needed. If you're planning a big power adder for the future then its well worth the PITA installation and custom fabrication.

From what I understand heddman makes some long tubes with 1-5/8 primaries without any emmisions stuff (you have to weld in the "bung")
I am going to try them in the future but it is still unclear to me as to wether or not they will fit all cars.
I think there may be problems with the manual tranny belhousing or the floor pan but I know people have told me that they will work as a bolt in in some applications.
bottom line is they are like 199 compared to the hooker supercomps which are 350+ for uncoated ones!
