Aurora Ignition????

Hey all, I was poking under the GTA I bought a couple days ago and noticed a strange box that looked like it had built in heatsinks. I assumed its a big coil (or even a small ignition). I couldnt tell because it wasnt marked at all.

After closer inspection and takeing apart a few things in the way. I found the on the underside, way on the otherside of it was a silver sticker saying AURORA PERFORMANCE IGNITION FV-40 or something along those lines. As well as 8.5mm performance wiring and Bosch +4 sparks.

It seams the previous owner upgraded the ignition system but what is AURORA? ive never heard of them. Thanks ahead of time.

The wires ive heard of. Its the ignition itself is aurora. As in, I was going to buy and install an MSD, but i must first remove the aurora unit.I cant seem to find anyone the knows about the ignition itself, just the wires....

all I've heard about Aurora is that they are based here in BC (Abbotsford, I think) and that they are a good upgrade to get. I think the AUrora wires are about 300ohms/ft (don't quote me on that one), which leaves the MSD a better choice. I don't know much else about it..
