Can I fit tires that are P195\40\R16 on the back of my '89 Camaro without too many problems?

companies dont make that size, if you want a 295 you have to get a 15 inch wheel. the biggest you can do on a 16 is a 255 and in drag radials you can go slightly bigger. i would never buy another 16inch wheel again after i found that out. also, if you decide to do a 295 tire, watch for rubbing on the inside of the well. i have 295 50 15 rears but my car is lifted a few inches and i barely have enough room because of those rubber guards that keep the axel from hitting the body. im thinking of cutting them off and fabing the wells.
one more thing, you have to use a 15x8 or larger. the stock 15x7's are to narrow and the tire could dismount on turns. WAY to much play in the sidewalls. i suggest going with a 15x9. the tires will not only fit great but they will also give them the appearence of being bigger then they really are. i am currently using a 15x8 and i wish i had gone 15x9 but i got all 4 wheels for 100 bucks...not to shabby
