my new engine

my new engine

for some reason i am hearing a ticking sound from my engine...it is fully rebuilt..but could it be the timing...still need to get that done perfect but other than that..and when i am coming to a stop it wants to stall and die...timing?

actually i have the same problem, im pretty sure its timing

could be bad timing which will knock more on load, could also be wrong valve lash if its more of a clapping sound, could be loose bearings, try to find if its by the bottom or top of the engine.
