random idea that could work!
I had this random idea about making a ram air effect for the AC system on my camaro. Running it into where the air enters the vent from either under the car somewhere or under the hood inside the body of the car like most air intake systems are routed. i colud also drill a hole into the firewall and run a duct from under the car that runs into the other air ducts that direct the air flow from the AC inside the car's dash. it should help pull cooler air to the system causing lower temps. the only problem is that you might only notice a difference at high speeds or on long trips. i know it's crazy but it could work, especially in the summer if your car is painted black like mine. i just wanted to let everyone know so they could put in some info.

when the AC is on, and you want it cool in the car, you have it set so it takes air from in the car, and chills that.... so it gets cooler and cooler in the car.
anyhoo, in my opinion, our heating and AC system sucks.
it takes up alot of space, the blower motor doesnt blow hard enough, the AC is cool, but it makes the box huge.
someday i want to retrofit a better blower motor and a smaller AC evaporator and have both AC and room underhood....

the main reason i was thinking of this is because it doesn't blow hard enough to begin with. my girlfriend has a 94 mustang and i think the hood has a duct that runs through the hood to the vent for more air to send to it. it seems like it gives it a supercharging effect to it. this is what gave me the idea.
