3 wire to 4 wire alternator install for a serpentine setup
I recently bought a serpentine setup for my 85 iroc. My problem is the old alternator won't fit on the setup. So I have to use the alternator for the serpentine setup. The setup is from an 88 tbi camaro. The old setup has 3 wires one to the bat, the connector on the top has a brown and red wire which just jumps to the wire going to the bat. Which wires on the newer style alternator do I connect or leave off?? Thanks in advance.

The big red wire on the new one goes to the starter(main post), the brown one goes to the old brown one and the battery wire from the stud on the old one goes to the stud on the new one.
