Car: 82 ElCamino, looking for a 3rd gen
Engine: 305 TPI(427SB in progress) 730 $8D
Transmission: THM350 (Getting a 4L80E soon)
Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt w/ 2.43 gears :(
Pistons

What is everyone's opinion on running forged vs hypereutectic pistons on a street engine (sbc400)that will be naturally asperated and not see any spray. Cost doesn't really have a buying preference.

if cost isn't an issue forged is the way to go...hyper is good though, much better then non but forged is really worth it running serious power.

Engine: 355
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt
For an n/a application there is nothing wrong with a hypereutectic piston. Save the money you would have spent on the forging and put it towards a good set of heads.
