I just recently bought an 82 z28. I got it from my uncle's backyard. It was just sitting there, noone wanted it. Anyway, he tells me that the guy he got it from says the car came from the factory with the Daytona cowl inducted hood, and the high extra rear spoiler. Can anyone PLEASE verify for me that they came from the factory like this.

 

Not that I have ever seen/heard of. I believe 82-84 had the hood that looked like an iroc but without the louvers, and should just have the little stock rear spoiler. Got any pics of the vehicle in question?

 

They defietly didnt come with the 350 listed in your info either.

 

When i bought it, the original engine was blown up. so i put a 350 in it, with holley 650 on top of a weiand high rise intake.

 

Hey, I got your email and that is deffinately not stock gear. The hood is the Daytona Turbo, and I have seen a wing like that but cant remember what its called. Either way that is one clean lookin 82 ya got there
