Summit roller rocker

I found these 1.6 steel roller rockers from summitracing.com
part nr Sum-141507
Are these any good i mean the price is only 99.95 for a complete set and since im on a budget it sounds really nice.
Will i need stud girdles for these ??

I would not cheap out on anything drivetrain related. IF you can't afford good roller rockers, then hold off. Theres a reason why some cost $100 and others cost $250 and it ain't just cause of the name. I went cheap on my last set of rockers and paid for it with 2 ruined lifters and a $300 camshaft in the trash.

Ehm, yes its a 305 and im looking for an easy way out instead of changing the cam i thought i go with the roller rockers. Im also going to change the rear axel ratio to a richmond but i havent decided what ratio i should buy.

OK, since you're not doing a big buildup you don't need steel roller rockers or girdles. You would do fine with stamped steel roller tipped rockers, they are cheaper then aluminum rooler rockers.

You can't use those on your heads. They are for use with guideplates.
