Will the weiand stealth intake (the duel plane one) fit under a stock flat hood? I have the stock 4 bbl. Also, I know thaqt I will need a carb adaptor. Are there any problems putting the stock 4 bbl on this intake with an adaptor?

 

it's hard to say since you never said what stock carb you have, or what your car is, but i know jester has that intake and a holley w/stock hood on a 90 something rs camaro.

It is for a 1985 camaro berlinetta. The carb is the stock computer controled one. Not sure of the cfm. I heard the the adapter needed sometimes won't work with the q-jet.

 

I think the Wieland, like the Edelbrock Performer, is drilled for both spread and square bore carbs. I have never heard anybody say their q-jet didn't fit with the wieland or Performer, but I have for the Performer RPM. You may want to invest the $10 for a drop base open air element anyways. Makes a bit of difference.
