Has it been discontinued summit looks like they are no longer carring it and someone said it was on back order?? I looked on Jegs web site and they still have it listed so Im not sure. Summit still has the entire kit but I was just looking for the plenum, runners and base.

 

I just called summit and they did stop carrying it. They said it was not discontinued. The reason they said they stoped carrying it beacuase of so many back order issues. I was looking to get this set. I will call jegs later and see if they have it.

 

Anything from Accel sucks.

They also knowingly ship gaskets that do not seal and you have to fight to get them replaced.

I personally know of two bases that were warped also.

Just some things to keep in mind.

Wow sorry its backordered everywhere. I got the edelbrock base and the plenum runners seperate. You may be able to get the plenum runners seperate.

 

Jegs is out of stock. They say its on backorder until the 28th. They said they have 3 on order so far.

That ebay listing, the guy dosnt have any in stock.

 

I just got off the phone with Jegs, ordered the 310-74196 Super Ram plenum and runners, they said about two weeks.

 

Can I use the edelbrock base with the super ram then?

 

I dont see why not since the plenum runner kit will even work with a stock base. The edelbrock base is a direct replacement as well.

 

I'm using this kit with the TPIs Big Mouth on a stroker.

 

You can. You can even use a TPIS BigMouth, or a fully ported stock base. The fully ported stocker will fall short in flow, over a ported aftermarket one.

Seems like Accel is making money, in spite of themselves! They do indeed have some issues going on recently.
