Why you going to duplicate guages, why not monitor something else?

On another note, I'm getting ready to install a tranny temp mech guage, so I'm looking for hints to.

Axle/Gears: huh?? guessing stock.
because the factory gauges are crap? My oil press is pegged at 80psi unless It idles for 30 secs, then it comes down to 45-50. this 2.8 has over 160K miles I doubt my oil press is really that high. that said Im getting a set of electric gauges, oil press, water temp, oil temp, vac and will be mounting them under the center AC vents.

Why not do it right and fix the factory guages?

you could always replace the factory senders to solve your problem. Or do it like me and ditch the whole cluster, rewire everything and swap over to 8 autometer guages for around $1000-ish.
