Im thinking of doing my whole ignition system when I get my 88 IROC 350. I was just wandering what it would cost and if it is worth it. I want to do the distributor,plugs,wires,coil, ect.. thanks in advance

BTW the car already has SLP headers and SLP exhaust if that makes a difference.

I don't think you can go wrong with anything from MSD.Everything I have ever used from MSD has been top quality and I have never had and problems with it.

Go with Accell 8.8mm race wires, Accell plugs, Accell cap/rotor buttton with brass inserts and the Accell 300+ ignition system. Definately worth the money and gives a SOTP improvement.

I have the MSD 6AL with Accel Supercoil, Accel Ignition Module, Accel Cap and Rotor, Taylor Spiral Pro 8mm Wires and AC Plugs.
I have all MSD stuff, MSD Cap & Rotor, MSD Blaster Coil, MSD 8.5mm Superconductor wires and AC Rapidfire plugs. I love my setup. Car runs great.

definately worth it,I upgraded my whole ignition system.MSD 8.5 wires,MSD coil,cap,rotor,Accel module,Rapid Fire plugs.The only thing I didn't like was the plugs becuase that little electrode wore down till I had about a .060 gap(installed at .045)I put Bosch platinums in and love them

ive heard the Hi-6 by crane is bad a$$. as far as wires go, go with msd...they are better than accel. ive looked at both and msd's conductor is thicker in their 8.5mm wires...than the conductor in the accel 8.8mm wires. Strange huh. good luck

Ive got the Accel 300+ system in my car. I like it cause it comes with the super coil, wireing harness to plug in to your factory wireing harness and the box itself which have swiches to set the rev limiter instead of chips. Plus its the smallest box on the market which makes finding a spot for it in our cramped up engine bay easy!! Ive had mine for the last 5 years now and I love it, no problems!
