accelerator pedal bushing???
Does anyone know where to get one? They seem to get alot of wear on the manual transmission cars. When I press my pedal slowly it isnt smooth... hard to explain. throttle body is new and so is throttle cable, and I even tried lithium grease on the pedal bushing. Incase you dont know, the pedal slides sideways into this bushing, and pivots in it.

Re: accelerator pedal bushing???
Its not the cable, its the plastic bushing that the pedal pivits in. If you look at the plate that mounts to the floor, the pedal slides into it, but there is a plastic bushing inside the plate that the pedal actually slides into.

Re: accelerator pedal bushing???
I ran into a similar problem, when i broke the bushing attaching the clutch pedal to the master cylinder eye( goes around the nub on the pedal that the master cylinder rod attaches to) . No parts store had it, or could even understand what the part was so I went down to gm and had them pull up an exploded view of the pedal assembley and picked the peice out off of that. It was a few years back, but i remember It was pretty spendy for a little round plastic peice ($15)
