B&M Lock up kit

Is anyone else running one of these?

Has anyone else ran into problems thrashing the speedo patch cables?

I just thrashed my second patch cable between the trans and sending unit today on the way to work- 2nd cable in less than 3k miles- now I have no speedo until tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance to jack it up and plug the OE speedo cable into the trans.

I will say this. About a year ago I totally gave up on all B&M products. We had all kinds of problems with a bunch of thier products. The last straw was when a brand new stall converter came apart. It sounded like a grenade under the truck. We have since seen several converters totally fail. They sell them as brazed fins. They are not. I have personally witnessed one being taken apart, it was some shoddy workmanship. Selling one thing and sending another really. All in all, we avoid them.

Thanks.....I don't have time or money to mess with horsecrap like shoddy products (who does, really?). I'm going to see if the toggle switch trick works- I removed my computer and the wiring, but maybe the wiring from the trans is still connected to the ALDL connecter.

More garbage for ebay.

Re: B&M Lock up kit

i'm currently using the toggle switch without the ECM in there anymore, been working great, might want to make a note of when the switch is on and off though.
