accell ingition
I heard fron a friend that 8.5mm wires, and a accell coil for the hei in a mostly stock 305 are a waste of time and money. Is this true, or will there be a performance increase?

not a waste of money but i doubt if you'd ever feel much differance if your coil and wires are working now. it'd be an upgrade in parts.

When I got my stock 305TPI it seemed like it was recently tuned-up with regular parts, minus that one spark plug. I put in double platinum plugs,Accell coil,wires,cap-n-rotor. I felt a considerable power increase.Putting an Accell or MSD ignition box wouln't hurt either. I didn't yet.
