Car: looking for my camaro again
Engine: 350 5.7L 150HP w/. injectors
Transmission: 700R4
best serpentine and hoses?
Anyone know which brand has the best serepntine to run in extreme heat conditions, also best hoses to use in extreme heat conditions? I live in vegas and stuff just breaks down and dry rots way too quick out here I want something that will last and be able to handle quick acceleration and extreme heat and pressure

I have had good luck with NAPA hoses and belts, and bad luck with everything else.

I like Gates or Dayco belts, no oponion on hoses. Never had any luck w/Goodyear belts, everyone I ever put on came back squeeling, shop I was working at then stop using Goodyear.Must have had like 20 comebacks for noisy Gatorback belts.

that is suprising. because ive installed over 200 gatorback belts and have never had any problems with them. As far as hoses, I prefer gates hoses which is what napa carries still I believe. it's thier napa brand but made my gates. gates belts are also good too though.

The blue goodyear hoses, hi-miller i think are probably the best hoses.
Belts I dont really have an opinion on, I just buy whatevers in stock and ive never had any issues.

goodyear hi-miler hoses are 10x better than stock!!! i have them and are fantastic in extreme temps.
