gm 350 replacement block

hey guys, im wondering if anyone out there has purchased and used this block on any high perf. builds.
the part number is NAL-10066034 for summit racing, or gm-10066034
i am building a mild 383 for the street, and buying this block is just a little more then the cost of machine work but i get the confidence of a new block. i just want to make sure it will stay together if i put 375hp/425tq
to it. please only people who have used it.
thanks everyone.

I don't know about that item, but at least the low- horsepower, complete 350 Goodwrench replacement engines are- "hecho en mexico", made in messico! I haven't actully heard of anybody having a problem with these engines, but it makes me wanna puke, and I'm a Chevy guy! I think at least some of the Vortec heads are like this too.

Any chevy sb Block should hold 375hp as long as you balance it properly. As I am a Machinist I say if your engine guy says your block is fine go for it. I have run 457hp fly wheel in my .030 over 350 2 bolt block 4 four years now. No issues. But you have to trust your Machinist is good.
