There is a guy on Ebay that sells a chromemoly ball to straighten dents on TPI runners. Has anyone used this or recommend it??

 

Giving this a bump. I'm curious about this also. Got a few dings I would like to smooth out.

 

I bought the set a few months back. It is a metal ball that has about 6 smaller wooden ***** that you force in behind the metal ball until it goes all the way through to the other side. I'll try it out this weekend and let you know the results if nobody else responds by then.

 

I bought the upgrade which came with steel ***** to remove the dents and a larger one to make stock runners bigger. Worked very good, came with instructions on dvd. It's worth it if you want to keep the stock runners, I used mine half dozen times. Now I run siamesed slp runners.

It works great. I bought the kit with all metal ***** that makes the runners larger than stock. With this you have to grind out the flanges a little to fit the ball through.
