Hello my friends, I picked up a pair of parking lights from 1a auto for the front of my 84 Camaro Berlinetta. Now these new lights are for "85-92" camaro's and that's okay because even though I have an 1984 Camaro the car has been outfitted with all the ground effects from an 89 Camaro, including the parking lights in the front bumper/nose cone. The fitment is perfect in the bumper, the problem is that I cannot get the light connected to the light housing...it just seems too tight. You know what I mean... where you take the light and you got to line up the slots in the back of the housing and then push and turn it until it is in place. Is there a difference between the 84 and 85 parking light connectors or should this fit all 82-92 camaros?? Please advise...... update......... I got them together, I had to use a nail file to slightly elongate one of the slots and the light went in beautifully. I will post pics later.
