Re: Founder performance LCA and panhard bar review

I installed mine with the adjustment towards the passenger side thinking it would be a bit more out of the road grime, not sure if that matters.
I called founders for torque specs and they told me 89 Ft.Lbs on both the lcarbs and panhard rod. The drivers side of the panhard rod torqued up but when I got the passenger side near final torque the bolt twisted off! Not going to try the lcarbs until I talk to founders tomorrow. I'm not sure if I got a bad bolt, my torque wrench is wrong, or if I did something wrong. I have built the entire drive train and suspension with that torque wrench and have never broken a bolt during assembly or disassembly. It concerns me that the other panhard bolt could also be over torqued.

Re: Founder performance LCA and panhard bar review

If you ever plan on lowering the car. get the adjustable. Some say you should get it anyway because the stock setup could be off on your car. It would allow you to recenter it. I have the adjustable, but my car is 2" lower. If it were me with a stock car, I would have still got the adjustable. I would also highly recommend getting their kit with the adjustable control arms. The control arms have a lot more noticeable feel to them. I also added the lower control arm adjustment brackets. I have good power, with the set it is a lot tougher to break my my 285 rear tires loose.Great improvement!

Re: Founder performance LCA and panhard bar review

In my case it was hard to tell, but I don't think they were much louder.
I only street cruise my car and take it to the track 3-4 times a year.
I went from boxed stock LCA to the founders unit.

I have a 4" single exhaust, it's loud.

Re: Founder performance LCA and panhard bar review

I ordered the Rear suspension Kit (Adj LCA, Adj PH) and LCA Relocation Brackets on the 27th.. It hasnt shipped yet, its still "Awaiting Fulfillment". I've heard alot of good things about Founder Performance.. Also heard alot of people if not most saying they've received their stuff within 5days of ordered.. Hopefully nothing wrong has happened
