Weatherstripping
I've been looking for new weatherstripping for my doors and seeing alot of aftermarket weatherstripping for the third gens made by Metro. Anyone have any experience with their product ? Comparable to let's say Softseal ? What's everybody's recommendation other than GMs OEM in which I wish I could buy.

Re: Weatherstripping
I used Metro, had no problems at all.I think it's all in the prep you do to make a successful fit.Would I recommend them, yes, but also, I would have rather used GMs if they weren't so dam expensive.

Thanks for everyone's input including blacksunshine for directing here at the website. Yes I would prefer GM's, but the price is outrageous. Aftermarket has come along way though. From the feedback, looks like I'm going to go with Metro...

Re: Weatherstripping
I used soffseal. They were pretty good quality. My only beef with them is that the ends were not reinforced like the original GM ones. Did the Metro pieces have any reinforcement? The only place I see the original GM pieces are at Hawk's, and yes $280 for one door piece is crazy.

Re: Weatherstripping
im looking at buying the complete reinforced set from Camarocentral, but i cant find a review or who the actual maker of the set is, but for a little over $400 for your whole car is not bad at all
